We are delighted to be able to announce the cast for The Full Monty - thank you to everyone who auditioned, with particular thanks to everyone that has had to wait patiently whilst we juggled in person auditions, video submissions and holidays. We think it's a brilliant cast and are very excited to get started!
For those wishing to be in the ensemble, please attend the first full company rehearsal on Tuesday 6th September at St Mary's College so that we can finalise numbers and confirm the ensemble cast - whilst we don't anticipate a problem with cast size we just want to make sure that we have a balanced cast in terms of voice types etc.

We are delighted to be returning to the Hull New Theatre stage this Autumn with the fantastic 'The Full Monty'!
Based on the cult hit film of the same name, The Full Monty is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most highly-anticipated closing number of any show! While spying on their wives at a 'Girls' Night Out,' a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo, New York see how much they enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work, and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness, and prejudices, the men come to discover they're stronger as a group, and the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go."
The Full Monty is an uplifting comedy full of heart, with a raucous mix of razor-sharp humour and toe-tapping pizzazz.
Audition info
Auditions will take place on Sunday 31st July at Derringham Bank Church. In advance of this, there will be an information evening and sing-through of audition materials on Monday 25th July.
We will be holding auditions for the following roles:
